What was the cause of fire that burned down Globe Theatre?

On June 29, 1613, during a performance of Henry VIII, a theatrical cannon misfired, shooting sparks that ignited the Globe's thatched roof. The fire spread rapidly, destroying the entire theatre in less than an hour.
