How does Don John put his plot into action?

Don John puts his plot into action by sending Borachio to woo Hero on Claudio's behalf. He also sends Conrade to watch and report on Borachio's progress. Borachio and Conrade then spread the rumor that Claudio and Hero are having an affair, which leads to Claudio calling off the wedding.
