    Seminole Square Cinema 4

    • Regal Seminole Square Cinema 4 is located just northeast of the University of Virginia in The Meadows area of Charlottesville. This cinema has four screens, concessions and wheelchair accessibility. Seminole Square Cinema 4 also shows selected films in 3D.     Carmike Six

    • Carmike Six Charlottesville is located in the Chapel Hill area, which is five miles north of downtown Charlottesville on Virginia Highway 631. This cinema houses six screens with digital sound, 3D capabilities and digital projection. Concessions are available. As of July 2010, prices for an adult ticket is $7.50 per ticket for a matinee and $9.75 for an evening showing.

    The Paramount Theater and Vinegar Hill Cinema

    • If big budget films at major movie theaters aren't your cup of tea, two independent cinemas show both classic and contemporary films in Charlottesville. The Paramount Theater, Charlottesville's functioning historical stage theater, screens films in a cozy projection room.
