Usher Raymond IV (born October 14, 1978), known simply as Usher, is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. He rose to fame in the late 1990s with the release of his second album, My Way (1997), which spawned the hit singles "Nice & Slow" and "My Way". He has since released eight more studio albums, all of which have achieved multi-platinum status. Usher has won numerous awards, including eight Grammy Awards, and has sold over 43 million albums worldwide.

In addition to his music career, Usher has also appeared in a number of films and television shows. He made his film debut in 2005's Coach Carter, and has since starred in such films as In the Mix (2005), Scary Movie V (2013), and Hands of Stone (2016). He has also appeared as a guest star on numerous television shows, including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Moesha, and American Dad!

Usher is also a successful businessman. He has his own record label, Raymond Braun Media Group, and has launched several other business ventures, including a clothing line and a fragrance line. He is also a partner in the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team.

Usher is known for his philanthropic work. He has donated millions of dollars to various charities, including those that support education, poverty alleviation, and disaster relief. He is also a vocal advocate for human rights and social justice.
