How did Harry Houdini come up with his stage name?

Ehrich Weisz came up with his stage name by combining the names of two legendary magicians: Harry Kellar and Jean Eugène Robert-Houdin. He took "Harry" from Kellar and "Houdini" from Robert-Houdin, creating the now-famous stage name "Harry Houdini."
