Who is Mark Milovats?

Mark Milovats is an American entrepreneur, investor, and public speaker. He is best known as the co-founder and former CEO of the technology company LiveOps.

Early life and education: Milovats was born in 1962 in New York City. He graduated from Cornell University with a degree in computer science in 1985.

Career:

- After graduation, Milovats worked as a software developer at various companies. In 1995, he co-founded LiveOps with his brother Gregg. LiveOps is a cloud-based contact center software company that provides customer service and technical support solutions.

- Under Milovats' leadership, LiveOps grew rapidly and became a leading provider of contact center software. In 2016, the company was acquired by Enghouse Systems for approximately $130 million.

- After leaving LiveOps, Milovats became an angel investor and advisor to several technology startups. He is also a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship and technology topics.

Awards and recognition:

- In 2016, Milovats was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the San Francisco Bay Area.
