- After graduation, Milovats worked as a software developer at various companies. In 1995, he co-founded LiveOps with his brother Gregg. LiveOps is a cloud-based contact center software company that provides customer service and technical support solutions.
- Under Milovats' leadership, LiveOps grew rapidly and became a leading provider of contact center software. In 2016, the company was acquired by Enghouse Systems for approximately $130 million.
- After leaving LiveOps, Milovats became an angel investor and advisor to several technology startups. He is also a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship and technology topics.
