How does Romeo get in the Capulet ball?
Romeo sneaks into the Capulet ball by disguising himself as a torch-bearer. He is not invited, but he is prepared to crash the party in order to see Rosaline, the woman he believes he is in love with. He is able to blend in with the other servants and join in the festivities without being noticed. Later on, after Romeo meets and dances with Juliet, he will tell her that he was "afire with love" and felt so passionate and out of control that he felt he had "crawled into the house." His comparison to a worm alludes to the way he was able to sneak in and become unnoticed so that he could get near Rosaline.
