Can you catch a trainers Pokemon with your mater ball?

In the Pokémon games, players cannot catch other trainers' Pokémon with any Poké Balls, including Master Balls. Trainers can only catch wild Pokémon or trade with other players or non-player characters to acquire Pokémon.
