Who was kc irving?

KC Irving was a Canadian businessman and philanthropist. He was the founder of Irving Oil, one of the largest privately held companies in Canada. Irving was born in Bouctouche, New Brunswick, in 1899. He started his business career in the 1920s, when he began selling gasoline to local farmers. In 1924, he founded Irving Oil. The company grew rapidly, and by the 1950s, it was one of the largest oil companies in Canada. Irving was also involved in other businesses, including forestry, shipbuilding, and real estate. He was a major donor to charitable causes, and he established several foundations to support education and health care. Irving died in Saint John, New Brunswick, in 1983.
