What is first theater?

The first theatre is believed to have originated in ancient Greece around the 6th century BC.

The Greeks developed a form of dramatic entertainment known as "theatre" which involved the performance of plays in outdoor amphitheatres. These theatres were typically large, open-air structures with a circular or semi-circular stage surrounded by tiers of seating for the audience.

The earliest Greek plays were religious in nature, often dealing with mythological stories and the exploits of gods and heroes. However, over time, a wider variety of plays were developed, including comedies, tragedies, and satires.

Greek theatre had a profound influence on the development of Western drama and theatre, and its conventions and practices continue to be used in theatre productions around the world today.
