How to Find a Local Movie Theatre

Going to the movies is a fun thing to do with family or friends. However, not everyone is aware of the location of the nearest movie theater. Whether you are new to the area and don't know your way around, or it's been so long since you went to the movies you forgot where your local theater is, you can find the location of your local movie theater, as well as showtimes, quickly and easily through the Internet.

      Go to your favorite search engine, such as Google, Yahoo!, or Bing.

      Type "movie theater" and your zip code into the search bar.

      Click on one of the links which comes up. There will be a list of the movie theaters closest to your zip code, and movie times.

      If you need directions, type the address of your local movie theater into a mapping website such as Google maps or MapQuest. Follow the directions listed to find your local movie theater.

    Via a Movie Listing Website

      Point your browser to a movie listing website such as Moviefone.com, Fandango.com, or Movietickets.com.

      Type your zip code into the box provided, and hit "Enter."

      Click on the name of your local movie theater, and a list of movies and show times will appear.

      Search for current and upcoming movie information, reviews, and interviews by browsing the clickable menus at the top of each home page.
