How does the opera Turandot end?

The opera "Turandot" by Giacomo Puccini ends tragically. As Prince Calaf correctly answers all three riddles of Princess Turandot, she refuses to marry him and demands his death. Calaf offers her a way out: if she can learn his name by sunrise, he will give up his life.

Turandot resorts to torture and interrogation to discover Calaf's name, but he remains silent. As time passes and sunrise approaches, Turandot becomes increasingly desperate. In a moment of compassion and love, she confesses her own name to Calaf, saving his life and breaking the curse that has kept her heart cold. Despite Turandot's willingness to sacrifice herself, Calaf's love for her conquers all, and they embrace passionately as the opera ends.
