Who played the voice of Rudolph?

The voice of Rudolph in the classic 1964 stop-motion animated film "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" was provided by Burl Ives. He also sang the iconic theme song, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer".
