When did haydn start composing?
Joseph Haydn began composing at a young age, demonstrating a natural talent for music. It is believed that he started composing around the time he was eight or nine years old, under the guidance of his music teacher, Johann Matthias Franck. Haydn's early compositions included vocal works such as masses and offertories, as well as instrumental pieces like keyboard sonatas. As he gained more experience and developed his skills, he expanded his compositional output to include symphonies, string quartets, and operas, which eventually established him as one of the most prominent and influential composers of the Classical music era.
