Where did Disneyland get its name?

The name "Disneyland" was coined by Walt Disney himself. He wanted a name that would conjure up images of a magical, storybook world, and he liked the alliterative sound of "Disneyland". He also considered other names such as "Mickey Mouse Park" and "Cartoonland", but ultimately decided that "Disneyland" was the best choice.
