Does translation involve the formation of mRNA?

Translation does not involve the formation of mRNA. It is the process by which mRNA directs protein synthesis. During translation, the mRNA sequence is read by ribosomes, which decode the sequence and assemble the corresponding amino acids into a polypeptide chain.
