Judy: Oh, just making some of my world-famous punch. Want some?
Punch: Sure, why not? I could use a drink.
Judy: Here you go. (Hands Punch a glass of punch.)
Punch: (Takes a sip.) Wow! This is delicious! What's in it?
Judy: Oh, it's a secret recipe. But I can tell you it's got a little bit of everything in there: rum, vodka, gin, tequila, whiskey, beer, wine, and a few other things.
Punch: Well, it's certainly strong!
Judy: Yeah, it's a bit of a party in a glass. So drink up and enjoy!
Punch: (Takes another sip.) This is too good. I can't stop drinking it!
Judy: That's the spirit!
(Punch continues to drink the punch, until he starts to feel a little tipsy.)
Punch: (Slurring his words.) I think...I think I'm starting to feel a little...punchy.
Judy: (Laughing.) Yeah, you're definitely getting there.
Punch: (Stands up.) I need to...I need to go get some air.
(Punch stumbles out of the house and into the backyard. He sits down on a lawn chair and takes a few deep breaths.)
Punch: (to himself.) Okay, Punch, you've had a little too much punch. But you're still in control. Right? Right.
Judy: (Comes into the backyard.) Hey, Punch, are you okay?
Punch: (Trying to act sober.) Of course, I'm okay. I'm just enjoying the night air.
Judy: Well, you're certainly enjoying the punch.
Punch: (Laughs.) Yeah, I guess I got a little carried away.
Judy: That's okay. We all do sometimes.
Punch: (Stands up.) I think I'm ready to go back inside now.
Judy: Good idea. I'll help you.
(Judy helps Punch back into the house. He sits down on the couch and puts his head in his hands.)
Punch: (Groaning.) I'm never drinking punch again.
Judy: (Laughing.) Oh, come on. You'll feel better in the morning.
Punch: I don't know about that.
Judy: Trust me. You will.
(Judy goes into the kitchen and makes Punch a cup of coffee. She brings it to him and sets it down on the table in front of him.)
Judy: Here you go. This will help you sober up.
Punch: (Takes a sip of coffee.) Thanks. I needed that.
Judy: You're welcome. Now, why don't you go to bed? You need your rest.
Punch: I think you're right.
(Punch gets up and goes to bed. He falls asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow.)
