How does Romeo find out about Juliets death?

In the play, "Romeo and Juliet", Romeo does not directly find out about Juliet's death. Instead, a series of unfortunate events and miscommunications lead him to believe that she is dead.

1. Friar John's Failed Delivery: Romeo is banished from Verona after killing Tybalt and is staying in Mantua. Meanwhile, Juliet fakes her death by drinking a potion that makes her appear lifeless. Friar John is assigned to deliver a letter to Romeo informing him of Juliet's plan, but the letter never reaches him.

2. Balthasar's Tragic News: Balthasar, Romeo's servant, arrives in Mantua with news of Juliet's apparent death. Balthasar, unaware of the fake death plan, informs Romeo that Juliet is dead and buried in the Capulet tomb.

3. Romeo's Impulsive Decision: Overwhelmed by grief and believing Juliet is gone forever, Romeo decides to return to Verona. He purchases poison from an apothecary with the intention of committing suicide at Juliet's tomb.

4. Death in the Capulet Tomb: Romeo sneaks into the Capulet tomb, where he discovers Juliet's seemingly lifeless body. Consumed by his love and sorrow, he drinks the poison and dies next to her.

It is only after their deaths that the truth about Juliet's fake death and the miscommunication around the letter becomes known. The tragedy unfolds due to a chain of mishaps and missed opportunities for communication, resulting in their untimely and avoidable deaths.
