In theatre and film production, stage property or simply prop is an object used on stage during a performance or in filmmaking as set decoration.[1] Props may be either real world objects, such as furniture, tools, clothes and weapons, or items specifically produced for a fictional work, for example the sonic screwdriver used in television series Doctor Who.[2]
