Who kill Mercutio?

Mercutio is killed by Tybalt in William Shakespeare's tragedy Romeo and Juliet. After Romeo crashes the Capulet ball and dances with Juliet, Tybalt, Juliet's cousin, spots Romeo and becomes enraged at his presence. Tybalt seeks to confront and fight Romeo, but Mercutio, Romeo's close friend, steps in to defend him. Tybalt and Mercutio engage in a heated duel, and Tybalt ultimately stabs Mercutio, mortally wounding him. Mercutio's death is a pivotal moment in the play as it deepens the conflict between the Montagues and Capulets and sets the stage for the tragic events that follow.
