Tybalt: Tybalt is Juliet's cousin and a fierce member of the Capulet family. He is hot-headed, quick to anger, and eager to defend the Capulet name. His hatred for Romeo stems from the rivalry between the Montagues and Capulets, and he repeatedly challenges Romeo to duels.
Lord Capulet: Lord Capulet is Juliet's father and the patriarch of the Capulet family. While he is not as overtly hostile towards Romeo as Tybalt, he does not approve of his daughter's relationship with a Montague. He arranges Juliet's marriage to Paris and tries to keep her away from Romeo.
Paris: Paris is a kinsman of the Prince of Verona and a wealthy, noble suitor for Juliet's hand. He has been promised Juliet by her father and is unaware of her love for Romeo. Paris becomes resentful and jealous of Romeo and tries to thwart their relationship.
