How did Aang and the others die in Legend of Korra?

In the Legend of Korra series, it is revealed that Aang died of natural causes at the age of 66, several years before the start of the series. While they had significant impacts on the world, neither Katara nor Toph are shown or stated to have died by the end of the series.
