What is the climax of Beauty and Beast?

In the climax of the story, a mob led by Gaston comes to the castle to kill the Beast. Belle tries to protect the Beast, but Gaston fatally shoots Beast. However, before dying, Beast regains his human form and Belle confesses her love for him, breaking the curse.
