The shooting took place at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, just minutes after Shakur had attended the Mike Tyson vs. Bruce Seldon boxing match at the MGM Grand. Shakur was riding in a car driven by Suge Knight, the CEO of Death Row Records. As they waited at a stoplight, a white Cadillac pulled up alongside them and opened fire. Shakur was hit multiple times and died six days later from his injuries.
