What happened in scene 4 of Antigone?
In Scene 4 of Antigone, the Chorus sings an ode in which they reflect on the power of love. The members of the chorus say they are afraid of the power of love because it can lead to destruction and cause people to do things they otherwise would not do. They describe the power of Eros as a force of nature and suggest it can lead to both joy and pain. They call on the gods to protect them from the destructive potential of love.
