In act 1 of Romeo and Juliet what was response to her plans about Paris?

In Act 1 of Romeo and Juliet, Juliet's response to her mother's plans for her to marry Paris is hesitant and reluctant. When her mother, Lady Capulet, first mentions Paris as a potential husband, Juliet replies with a polite but non-committal answer, saying that she will "look to like" Paris if her mother wishes it. However, as the conversation continues and Lady Capulet becomes more insistent, Juliet becomes more resistant. She expresses her love for Romeo and her desire to be with him, and she begs her mother to let her postpone her marriage to Paris. Lady Capulet is dismissive of Juliet's feelings and refuses to listen to her, but Juliet remains steadfast in her determination not to marry Paris.
