How did the murders kill fleance in play Macbeth?

The murderers did not kill Fleance in the play "Macbeth." Fleance was the son of Banquo, who was murdered by Macbeth's assassins on his orders. Fleance managed to escape, and his eventual descendants would later become the legitimate rulers of Scotland.
