Do Violet and Quigley date in a Series of Unfortunate Events?

Violet and Quigley do not date in "A Series of Unfortunate Events". While they are both intelligent, resourceful, and have a mutual respect for each other, their relationship is strictly platonic. They are best friends and partners in crime-solving, working together to outsmart Count Olaf and protect their younger brother Sunny.
