Where was the Doris Day picture Calamity Jane filmed?

The film Calamity Jane (1953) was primarily filmed at Warner Bros. Ranch in Burbank, California, which was a large studio backlot used for many Western films.

However, some scenes were shot on location:

* Deadwood, South Dakota: The town of Deadwood, where the story is set, served as a location for some exterior shots.

* Mount Rushmore National Memorial: The iconic monument was also featured in the film.

While much of the film was created on the studio lot, these real-world locations added authenticity and a sense of place to the story of Calamity Jane.
