What is the inciting incident in Shrek 2?

Shrek's swamp is invaded by his new in-laws, his majesty King Harold and Queen Lillian, and their entourage. Then, an angry mob threatens to harm Shrek because of his appearance and his ogre heritage, and Prince Charming plots with Fairy Godmother and King Harold to get rid of Shrek.
