When was the real house of Anne Green Gables built?

There is no real "Anne of Green Gables" house in the sense that it was the actual house that Lucy Maud Montgomery wrote about.

The story is fictional, and while inspired by Montgomery's own childhood home and experiences, it's not based on a specific real house. However, there are two popular places associated with the story:

* The Green Gables House in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada: This is a replica of the house described in the books, built in 1939 as a tourist attraction. It's a charming Victorian-era home, and many fans visit to experience the ambiance of Anne's world.

* Montgomery's childhood home in Cavendish: While not the actual Green Gables, this house is historically significant as the place where Montgomery spent her childhood and drew inspiration for her writing.

So, while there isn't a "real" Green Gables house, these two locations offer a glimpse into the world of Anne Shirley and the inspiration behind the beloved novel.
