As You Like It is a romantic comedy because it features two central love stories, between Rosalind and Orlando and between Phebe and Silvius. The play also contains many humorous moments, such as the transformation of Rosalind into the boy Ganymede and the mistaken identities that result from her disguise. The play's happy ending, in which all of the central characters are united in love and marriage, is also typical of romantic comedies.
