How does Quince manage to make the Prologue play unintentionally funny?

Quince makes the Prologue unintentionally funny by constantly misinterpreting the script and giving strange and nonsensical directions to the actors. For example, he tells them to "speak more slow" and "hold their peace, and be not afeard." He also mispronounces words, such as "marvellous" (which he says as "marvailous") and " Pyramus" (which he says as "Pyramides"). Quince's bumbling and confusion create a sense of humor and irony, making the Prologue unintentionally funny.
