Why did the band white zombie chane their name to rob zombie?

The band White Zombie did not change their name to Rob Zombie. Rob Zombie is the stage name of Robert Bartleh Cummings, who was the lead singer and songwriter for White Zombie. White Zombie broke up in 1998 and Rob Zombie began a solo career.
