Who is the hero in Alice Wonderland?

There isn't a clear-cut "hero" in Alice in Wonderland. The story follows Alice's journey through a fantastical world, and she is the protagonist, but she doesn't necessarily fit the typical hero archetype:

* She's not actively seeking adventure: Alice falls down the rabbit hole by accident and is largely swept along by the strange events of Wonderland.

* She doesn't overcome a major obstacle: While she encounters challenges and bizarre situations, there isn't a singular, clear goal or enemy she needs to defeat.

* She's often passive: Alice is often bewildered and confused by the characters and situations she encounters, rather than taking control or leading the action.

Instead of a hero, Alice is more of a witness and observer of the absurdity and nonsense of Wonderland. She is curious, adaptable, and observant, but not actively trying to change or fix anything.

The story focuses on Alice's journey of self-discovery and coming-of-age rather than a traditional hero's quest.
