In the movie Grease, it's Kenickie who gets knocked out at Thunder Road.
During the race, Kenickie's car, the "Greased Lightning," gets sabotaged by the rival gang, the Scorpions. The sabotage causes Kenickie to lose control of the car, resulting in a crash that knocks him unconscious.
