Who were the 2 actors who played freckles in The Little Rascals?

There were actually three actors who played the character of Spanky in "The Little Rascals," not two:

* George "Spanky" McFarland (1928-1993) played the role for the majority of the series' run.

* Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer (1927-1959) briefly filled in for Spanky in the first season of the Our Gang series, before Spanky joined the group.

* Donald Haines (1928-1966) played Spanky in a few early shorts before McFarland took over the role.

It's worth noting that "Freckles" was not a character in the Our Gang series. That was a character in the 1994 film "The Little Rascals." The role of "Freckles" in the film was played by Travis Tedford.
