Broadway theaters in New York City can vary in size, and the number of seats can range from around 400 to more than 2,000. Most Broadway theaters have between 600 and 1,500 seats. Some of the largest theaters, such as the Gershwin Theatre and the Marquis Theatre, have a seating capacity of over 1,900 people.
