2. Leave New Bark Town and head north on Route 29, passing through Palet town.
3. Head west across the bridge of the Slowpoke Well and head onto Route 30.
4. Head down Route 30, stopping to battle in the Sprout Tower if required.
5. Follow Route 30 until you come to the gate near Violet City, where a police officer stops you.
6. You will need to have the town radio from Professor Elm with you to proceed. If not, you cannot go through.
7. Once through, head left through the gate onto Route 31, passing through the Union Cave.
8. At the end of the cave, you will arrive in Pewter City.
