How to Play a Karaoke CD
Karaoke is a form of entertainment that began in Japan in the 1970s. Karaoke songs are musical tracks without vocals. Karaoke CDs are played on a machine or by a computer with a CD-ROM drive that reads karaoke format (CD+G, or CD+Graphics). The CD+G format embeds lyrics that scroll across a screen. There are many sing-along discs on the market, but unless they are CD+Gs, there will be no scrolling lyrics. Learn how you can play karaoke discs on your computer or a machine.
