What does the chorus think that Creon should do in

In the chorus of _Antigone,_ the chorus believes that Creon should show mercy to Antigone and allow her to be buried. They argue that she acted with good intentions and out of her duty to her brother while also noting that she is a young princess that deserves clemency. Despite these reasons, Chorus warns that it's up to Creon to ultimately make the decision, implying either the respect his authority or their fears regarding what could happen should he deny the request despite its validity.
