Is there a song when the shearing was done for year?

"Waltzing Matilda", a popular Australian folk song, includes line about the end of the shearing season. The relevant passage from the song lyrics is:

"But a swagman crept up in the night

Overcame him and gave him a fright;

Now he works hard and his station outback -

But there's no swagman sleeping in his swag tonight.

And he sang as he watched and waited 'til his billy boiled,

'Who'll come a -waltzing Matilda, with me?'..."
