How do you hardcore scream?

To learn to hardcore scream, follow these steps:

_1. RELAX YOUR VOICE_

When you're screaming, your vocal folds slam together, so the key is to relax the rest of your body so you can project the sound.

2. BREATHE FROM YOUR DIAPHRAGM

The diaphragm is a muscle under your lungs. When it contracts, it pushes your vocal cords together. Practice deep, abdominal breaths. To master this technique, practice growling from low to high. When that becomes comfortable, try doing it quickly - this is the beginning of the hardcore technique.

3. CREATE SPACE IN YOUR VOCAL TRACT

Open your mouth wide, keeping your tongue flat. This will help to create a resonating chamber for the sound.

4. PUSH THE AIR FROM YOUR DIAPHRAGM

While pushing the air from your diaphragm, make a "guttural" sound with the back of your throat. This sound is similar to the sound a frog or toad makes.

5. RELAX YOUR THROAT

To prevent hoarseness, make sure not to tense up your throat.

Common Problems

- You may be tensing up your throat. Relax your throat and push the air from your diaphragm.

- You're not pushing enough air from your diaphragm.

- You're not creating enough space in your mouth and throat.

_Your scream is too hoarse_

- You're pushing too much air from your diaphragm.

- You're tensing up your throat.

- You're not drinking enough water.

Tips

- Start slowly and gradually increase your intensity as you get more comfortable.

- Don't scream for too long at a time. Take breaks to give your voice a rest.
