    • Family Karaoke's main area (available Monday to Thursday) contains a 200-inch screen and a powerful sound system. Alternatively, there are 12 private rooms, each with a large plasma TV and wireless microphones for two to 30 people.     • Norazo hosts karaoke in eight luxury private rooms. Hourly charges are waived for groups who order alcoholic beverages. Asian-style cuisine is served, and the bar is stocked with cocktails. Groups of up to 40 can use the rooms, and song languages include English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and Indonesian.

    • Mac Karaoke's 12 private karaoke rooms are organized into "Standard," for up to eight people, with a 42-inch plasma TV; "DeLuxe," for up to 10 people, with a 64-inch TV monitor; and the Banquet Room, for up to 35 people, with a 120-inch projector screen. Each room has two microphones and tambourines. Songs are sourced from seven different countries and number approximately 20,000. An Asian-style menu is offered. Customers receive a free recording of the session on audiocassette, and polaroid photographs are available. Special room decor is offered for special occasions, and childcare is available.

    • Theo's Grill & Bar describes itself as a family-run neighborhood bar. It offers karaoke every Tuesday and Thursday night, and live music every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night featuring local acts. It’s located in Grand Prairie, a suburb of Dallas.     • Round-up Saloon, a gay country & western bar, has a crossover crowd where everyone is welcome. Karaoke is available on Sundays through Fridays, and three different DJs rotate on weekends. Customers can take part in free dance lessons.
