What is the meaning of full song Mala jau dya na ghari?

"Mala jau dya na ghari" is from Marathi, language spoken in the state of Maharashtra, Western India. Its direct translation to English would be "Don't let me go even for an hour."

However, when understood symbolically, it is a plea of a young bride asking to not be away from her newly wedded husband even for a short while. While on the surface, they are referring to time - 'do not be absent even for an hour', on another metaphorical level they are hinting an intimate desire to stay connected at all times. That their union should stay intact.
