Why is choir considered lame in high school?

Choir is not necessarily considered lame in high school. In fact, it can be a very popular and rewarding activity. However, there are a few reasons why some people might perceive it as lame.

* Choir is often seen as a feminine activity. In many cultures, singing is associated with femininity, and this can lead to choir being seen as something that is not "cool" for boys.

* Choir is often associated with religion. In some communities, choir is seen as being closely tied to religion, and this can put people off who are not religious or who are of a different religion.

* Choir requires a lot of commitment. Being in choir requires regular rehearsals and performances, and this can be seen as a lot of work for some people. Additionally, choir music can be challenging to learn and perform, which can put some people off.

Despite these potential perceptions, choir can be a great way to meet new people, make friends, and learn new skills. It can also be a very rewarding experience to perform in front of an audience and to see the positive impact that music can have on people.
