What hapend to slipknots first singer?

Slipknot's first singer, Anders Colsefni, departed from the band in 1993, prior to the release of any studio albums. His departure is attributed to creative differences with the other members. Colsefni was succeeded by Corey Taylor, who has remained as Slipknot's frontman since 1997.
