1. Relax your throat. When you're tense, your vocal cords can become tight and more likely to crack. Try to relax your throat by taking deep breaths and releasing them slowly. You can also try humming or singing to yourself to help loosen up your vocal cords.
2. Use your vocal cords correctly. When you speak, try to use your diaphragm (the muscle below your lungs) to push air out of your lungs and into your vocal cords. This will help you to produce a strong, clear sound without straining your voice.
3. Stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water can help to keep your vocal cords lubricated and prevent them from becoming dry and irritated.
4. Avoid smoking. Smoking can damage your vocal cords and make them more likely to crack.
5. See a doctor. If your voice cracking is severe or persistent, you should see a doctor to rule out any underlying medical conditions.
