How did Adam Levine start singing?

Adam Levine began singing at a young age. He was first inspired to sing by his father, Fred, who was a musician himself. Adam would often listen to his father playing guitar and singing songs, and he would try to imitate him. Adam also sang in the church choir as a child. He attended Brentwood School in Los Angeles, where he was involved in the school's music program. He performed in several school musicals and talent shows. While at Brentwood, he met Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, and Ryan Dusick, who would later become his bandmates in Maroon 5.

After graduating from high school, Adam Levine attended Five Towns College in Dix Hills, New York, where he studied music. However, he dropped out after one semester to pursue a music career with his band. Maroon 5 was formed in 1994, and they released their first album, "Songs About Jane," in 2002. The album was a commercial success, and Maroon 5 has gone on to release six more studio albums. Adam Levine has also had a successful solo career, releasing his debut album, "Man of the Woods," in 2018.

In addition to his music career, Adam Levine has also been involved in television. He was a coach on the American reality singing competition show "The Voice," and he has also appeared in several films, including "Begin Again" (2013) and "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping" (2016).
