How did BB guitar get its name?

BB King was born Riley B King in 1925 in Itta Bena, Mississippi. He developed an interest in music at an early age and began playing the guitar at around 12. He soon gained a reputation as a talented musician and was given the nickname "Beale Street Blues Boy" by a local DJ. This nickname was eventually shortened to "BB".
